Ah game jams.
This particular material is from the 2021 Epic Mega Jam, where I was focused on environmental assets and level design. As it was a top down game, I knew the grass didn’t have to be too realistic. In fact, I’m pleased with how it looks given how few nodes are used! (Also it’s available for purchase on my itch!)
The template used is a pbr template typically not included with substance designer, but aids in the quality of maps like ambient occlusion.
